Weirdest dream about a possible trip to a parallel universe

Let me begin this by stating that everything that will be presented to you in this article is not made up, it's simply a recollection of events that took place inside my mind, as I realized when waking up from what seems to be just a really bad dream. The earlier parts are quite unclear to me, so I'll just resume to the bits that I can actually remember.

Here it goes. I was doing something that wasn't really out of the ordinary; I was enjoying some free time in the mountains with someone who seemed to be my stupid neighbor and his son. I should say now, that me and the guy don't really have that kind of connection to go on a trip, oh well, stuff like that can happen.

After walking some distance, I felt a little bit thirsty. So I stopped by at the nearest store to buy myself a drink. I was so thirsty that I was in the mood of ordering something else than the usual water. So I wanted to buy a soda, orange flavored one, yeah, you all know it. Anyway, so I ordered a freezing cold pop, and the guy working at the store told me "we don't have it too cold, you know, the outside temperature is so low at times that we don't even need to turn our fridges on". I figured he has a point, so I told him "fine, bring me whatever you have", but the guy brings me a totally different drink, which indeed, was made by the same company, but didn't really satisfy my taste.

By this time I was so desperate to drink something, I didn't even complain about him bringing another drink, held at a higher temperature. So I ask "how much is it?" the guy says "30", that seemed an awful lot to me, so another guy that was working in the store saw it in my eyes that I was going to search for another place to get myself the right drink. And so the guy comes closer to me and says to the other guy "hey, come on dude, we all know it's not that much" and he tells me "it's only 4", and then everything in my body cooled down and I payed the guy the reasonable price for a touristic area. I'm not going to tell you how much I enjoyed that drink, which in the normal situations I would dislike, but let's move on a little bit closer to the impossible..

So I walked outside from the store and I noticed that my friend (currently my stupid neighbor) and his son were at the same point of the journey as me, even though I stopped to buy a drink, whatever. We advanced further, but to tell you the truth, I don't even know anything about our destination, or even a purpose.. but anyway, at one point something really weird caught both our attention.
In the far, far away distance, we saw an apartment building and some of it's surrounding buildings. To be more precise, it looked pretty much like our neighborhood. That was really odd for us both, as we knew that couldn't be possible, because our neighborhood was about 300 km away from our current location. In this particular situation, one would think "hey, why didn't you take out your phone and take some pictures?" well, I'm going to tell you why. At the point where we were standing and the distance to our mysterious neighborhood in the mountains we just couldn't see the whole picture. So, we had to get closer and closer to it to make sure.

It took some time to get close enough to it in order to realize that this wasn't our neighborhood. It may have looked like it, but it had minor differences in appearance. But the most obvious one was the size of this structure. I looked back, and I stumbled upon the fact that everything had changed completely. The mountains that we just walked our way through were no longer in sight. It was like we just stepped into another realm.

So I'm a curious guy when it comes to paranormal phenomenons.. by that time, I've already seen UFOs and stuff, which no one seemes to believe me. But this time I had proof, some stupid guy was there with me (I think his son might've got lost on the way, because I can't remember anything about him during this time). And, of course, he was just impressed as I was. He also had the idea that we should go inside our building. As I was gazing at all the grandiose structures, some that I've seen before, some that I didn't, the guy moved fast and he stepped inside, as I imagined, because he was no longer near me.

I stepped inside the building that I knew most, "our block". I had a big shock as I entered it. The first floor was of vast proportions, not corresponding with it's outside presumable measures. The people, or "aliens" as I immediately pictured them were minding their own business, they couldn't even care less about my presence and staring face that I had. I tried to engage on a conversation with the people, but it seemed like no one could hear me, although I was shouting the most known form of salute on the planet.
At that point I really freaked out, that was it for me. My friend was nowhere to be found, I couldn't be noticed by anyone inside. I tried to go back, return through the big gate I just entered. I blacked out. Complete darkness, no sounds, no senses. This must've been a sign that it was too much information for my brain to handle, haha.

This is the story about my impossible dream. It's not even close to describing into words, as to what I've seen. If I were an artist, I would've tried to sketch everything. I'm neither an artist nor a writer, but I tried my best.

I only wrote this because my mind tends to easily forget things that just happened. I guess you can call it a "very bad short term memory". I don't know if I just made up that sentence, or it's actually a condition's name. Whatever! :P

Thanks for everyone who took their time to read all this madness / nonsense. :)

PS: as I wrote it I began to remember stuff that happened before, but they're not so important, they're the usual stuff and I'll forget them by the time anyone reads this. Hope you enjoyed!

I'm going back to sleep now.

  1. As a curious guy, I would really like to hear one's opinion on the interpretation of this dream. Could this mean I'm a wacko? lol
Or is it that when we are in dreamlike state we may experience things that we can not possibly see in our world?
When I'm in the state of awareness, my imagination can't really go that far, yet I know for a fact that the mind does have the ability to create it for me.
Can I actually use anything I've "seen" there? Even just for a little bit? Well, yes.. that's what actually led me to write this in the first place.
