New Year dinner of the future.. ehm, today

I hope everyone had a great time partying and welcoming the New Year into your lives, but I also hope that you had the chance to rest, thus regaining your strength to keep you moving forward. I know I did, as much as I needed these days.
That's why I even wrote this article so late.. hope you guys won't judge me on this matter.
But who am I speaking to, anyway? This blog doesn't have that kind of an audience, yet. Let's just move on to the subject.

Last New Year's Eve for me, and this might be a bit confusing.. the one that I'm referring to is the night between 2012-2013, was kind of simple. I stayed home, had a drink, played some music and went to sleep really early (let's say that for me, it is early - about 1:30 AM). And this is because, like I told you guys in the previous article, I woke up early as well, so I was pretty much tired by the time clock hit midnight. That's pretty much it.

But the story behind this article is about a dinner thrown in the celebration of the New Year, so I guess it's basically about the same principle..

Twenty Twelve ... +1

This one passed away so fast, I barely even noticed it. I woke up early this morning and I couldn't believe what I saw, my phone warned me on the fact that tonight is the night between the years. But let's be somewhat more optimistic about the future! I mean, hey, this takes us one step closer to 2150.
I hope the next one will be a better one for all of us!

By the way guys, this is my first blog, so please bear with me here. As a kid, I never really kept diaries or journals, call it how you wish. After some time, when this thing called blog came around I was also kind of skeptical about it. I was like "why should people know my secrets" and stuff. But eventually I realized that it doesn't take too much for someone to become internet's mysterious Wizard of Oz.

Weirdest dream about a possible trip to a parallel universe

Let me begin this by stating that everything that will be presented to you in this article is not made up, it's simply a recollection of events that took place inside my mind, as I realized when waking up from what seems to be just a really bad dream. The earlier parts are quite unclear to me, so I'll just resume to the bits that I can actually remember.

Here it goes. I was doing something that wasn't really out of the ordinary; I was enjoying some free time in the mountains with someone who seemed to be my stupid neighbor and his son. I should say now, that me and the guy don't really have that kind of connection to go on a trip, oh well, stuff like that can happen.

After walking some distance, I felt a little bit thirsty. So I stopped by at the nearest store to buy myself a drink. I was so thirsty that I was in the mood of ordering something else than the usual water. So I wanted to buy a soda, orange flavored one, yeah, you all know it. Anyway, so I ordered a freezing cold pop, and the guy working at the store told me "we don't have it too cold, you know, the outside temperature is so low at times that we don't even need to turn our fridges on". I figured he has a point, so I told him "fine, bring me whatever you have", but the guy brings me a totally different drink, which indeed, was made by the same company, but didn't really satisfy my taste.

By this time I was so desperate to drink something, I didn't even complain about him bringing another drink, held at a higher temperature. So I ask "how much is it?" the guy says "30", that seemed an awful lot to me, so another guy that was working in the store saw it in my eyes that I was going to search for another place to get myself the right drink. And so the guy comes closer to me and says to the other guy "hey, come on dude, we all know it's not that much" and he tells me "it's only 4", and then everything in my body cooled down and I payed the guy the reasonable price for a touristic area. I'm not going to tell you how much I enjoyed that drink, which in the normal situations I would dislike, but let's move on a little bit closer to the impossible..
